Robert (Bob) Martinsen, Sr.

Robert Lee Martinsen, Sr (Bob) Martinsen was arrested in Mecklenburg County on 12/26/2011 for Felony Bigamy and obtaining property through false pretense. He married a woman in Charlotte on 9/17/2010, but failed to let her know he was still married to wife number 3 in Santa Clara, CA. Bob is a con artist, liar and a Bigamist. He told his new wife #4 that he had been married 2 times and had moved here from CA. to be near his adult sons and grandkids and that he had been hurt before and had not been seeing anyone. Bob had been seeing women and as a matter of fact had been engaged three times before he got wife #4 to marry him. Last Monday, wife #4 was granted an annulment in Mecklenburg County due to Bigamy and Mr. Martinsen did not contest the charges. Wife number 4 had to hire an attorney and pay the fee to get out of this fake marriage. Bob Martinsen (mispelled on his arrest record as Robert Lee Marinsen) was not convicted of either charge because of reasonable doubt. He was also fired from his job as a loss prevention manager due to these charges. Mr. Martinsen goes on various dating sites to locate his victims, such as Date Hook up, Match.com, etc. He hunts for women who are lonely, own a home and have a little bit of money he can scam. Wife number 4 took out loans for him, bought him a car, etc. She slowly started catching on to him and his cons catching him in various lies, even having someone call her home 3 days before he left telling her he was seeing a married women who came into the home improvement where he was employed. He took up with another woman within weeks who came into a sizeable amount of money from the sell of her home from a divorce and they started living together. She even went to court with him and hired him an attorney knowing the charges and about his past. There is no telling how many victims are out there and who he has hurt. I know personally Wife #4 is devastated by all of this. Women if you see this man run........... He always loves these women so much, if something happened to them he would never go around another woman because his love is so strong - wrong - the only person Bob Martinsen loves is himself, the use of a certain body part, and what he can take from women. Bob is not a handsome man, but he is quite the charmer and liar. He cannot suport himself and always finds another woman........Beware of your heart....................he will only break it and use you. I as a friend of wife #4 am doing this as a public service about this man and because of the hurt he has caused wife #4 knowing she was his FAKE wife.........
