He contacted me through my Avon website 4/12/12. Said he was a makeup artist & he was contacted by a company to do makeup on models coming to the USA for a photo shoot. He wanted me to order almost 20 products & ship it to him. He would pay through the Co. that hired him w/ a money order or wired money to my account. The funny thing, only 3 of the items he wanted were actually makeup. The others were cologne, perfume and non makeup items. I sent him an email through my website, stating he could order directly thru the website & pay by credit card.

How stupid does this individual think people are?

I am an AVON representative, and it seems that I got the same message you got, on 4/15/12. I am based in San Diego, not New York, so I think this guy is just going down the list and randomly picking AVON reps. I did the same thing you did, told him to buy it from the website. Also, it was really lame because in his e-mail he spelled his own name wrong.

I have received two messages from this guy. The first on 06/15/2012 and one today. The first email was kind of fishy and I instructed him to order & pay online since he said he was abroad. The second email was from a different email address. I replied to his second email giving him the total for his order as well as my name & address for him to send payment. Now I know not to order any products and to contact my manager in order to see what can be done about this individual. I just hope that he is unable to commit any fraudulent acts since I gave him my information.
