Pleasant hills pet hospital

I took my 5 month old exotic short hair(which I paid $600 for)in for a ck up and shots ,I was concerned he only weighed 4 lbs and didn't seem to be breathing right. They assured me he was fine,a month later I took him to be neutered microchipped and declawed,he still weighed only4lbs. I had some presurgery tests done but not all.i paid extra for An EKG and laser surgery.they assured me again he was fine. They called me a few hours after I dropped him off for his surgery and said he wasn't breathing right,they did an xray and found fluid in his chest the doctor said he had FIP which is f atal, I had to put my sweet6month old kitten down I w as devastated. I was still crying and they gave me the bill($632)to pay which I did. Then they sent us out the back door to the parking lot to wait for my dead cat!! I talked to the Dr. The next day and asked if they could at least fix the replacement cat I would be getting from the breeder,she said she didn't see why not bit would get back to me. She said she also talked to the vendor about the microchip and i would be credited $45 for thatWell a few days later the office mgr called meto say they would do nothing. I called my credit card to see what they could do ,they said they called pleasant hills hospital and they would do qnothing,they said pleasant Hills wouldn't even put a Dr.on The phone!! Chase felt so bad they gave me a $150 credit on my bill!! They are heartless and now have heard other horror.
Stories about them .I wish I would've known,my cat would've died anyway,but he didn't have to go thru being neutered declawed and microchipped before being put down!!!q
