I trusted Independence Law Group of Sunrise Florida. I talked with Karl Overton and then e-mailed Erick. I was told they would stop the foreclosure process and get my mortgage to $750.00 after talking with the bank. I was given the documents to send and even was given a phone number to call with any questions. When I didn't hear from them, I called that number and got a recorded message. "The number you dialed is a non-working number." I left messages on their machine, but noone has gotten back to me. The bank didn't receive any paperwork from them and the money I paid out walked away. Any service that has a 50/50 service review should be avoided. Always ask for mailed documents stating agreements. Florida...check out your businesses please! People need to know.
