Stuart James, Tyler James, Darren James

This man contacted me through the Internet dating site Mate1.com using the name Darren James. Said he was in the Army, is based in TX, and is due to retire end of December. Gives a birthdate of 12/30/60. Says he has a 22 year old daughter, and as an investment bought a Shell gas station in New York. Also said that he's working on a telecom company after he retires, project manager's name is Paul Azigo Jnr who is working out of Ghana (yeah). He can be really sweet, but is obviously not an individual but a few different people working on this scam. Will chat on Yahoo (often using poor English & grammar), and will sometimes email very romantic messages that are perfect English (IP addresses show they're coming from Brooklyn, NY and also from Accra, Ghana). When asked about this, "Darren" said that he changed his IP address for some reason or another. Asks for small amounts of money - today said his daughter needed an emergency surgery to save her life, and that he needed to pay the doctor $700 (asked me for $200 of this, after which he would have "Paul" send me a check for $1000). Told him that his medical insurance would cover her surgery (she's supposedly a full-time student, and I'm very familiar with the military insurance company), and that in the US doctors don't ask for payment up front unless it's an elective cosmetic procedure. This person (or these people) are NOT very smart, and he's already been profiled on the Romance Scam site. Wanted women here to be aware of him as well. Supposedly he also goes on match.com.
