George Meyers

George Meyers is an imposter luring single women off of online dating sites. "P.S: I took off my profile on match.com cos there are a lot of weirdos there who keeps emailing me for a night stand and i am not into stuffs like that as i seek for true love and absolute trust he writes to all". He is a man posing as a widower of 5 years, with a son in high school or college.He works as an offshore surveyor..."mapping the seafloor" etc.on an oil rig. States he earned PhD from Oxford Univ in Petroleum Engineering and states he lives in Tampa, FL. States he has a dog called Jack.

He writes to all, I use yahoo account and it will be much easier if you can sign up for yahoo also. You can add me after downloading yahoo IM......gmeyers1952@yahoo.com or gmerys1953@yahoo.com via Yahoo Messenger. Within no time he is using phrases like hugs and kisses and writing love poetry. Constantly calling and trying to connect. Then he asked for money to help buy things to send to missionaries in Nigeria and he wants you to mail the items for him because he states he is on an oil rig. High Pressure sales pitch...almost abusive. Wants online acct numbers. Says he will deposit the money into your acct and you can take some of it out for yourself. Even goes as far as to ask you to write his son which is bogas. Within 3 wks close to offering to marry soon. He always wants to see you on your webcam but he doesn't have on for "he is on an oil rig".

Bottom line...He is a money scammer using romance to scam financially secure older women. I reseached him and found him on the website below from another woman who he tried to scam:http://www.romancescam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=46238 and then I reseached further to this website:

There outline all the qualities of these scammers. You can ever put in a phrase he wrote you and it will pull out how all these people use the same lines.

You may laugh about all this but it is really serious for he is taking people to the cleaners financially - many retirees.
