It all started from a basic conversation from Badoo and we were brought offline via email as he is not able to be online in Badoo. His email was jackjeff3656@yahoo.com

First email from him: 25 Nov 2012: 3:06am (UK Time) with 9 photos attached.
Hello dear, how are you doing? I sent you my pics and telling you a little about myself i hope this first step i have taken would be appreciated and your going to reply back with your pics and also telling me more about yourself. Firstly, Am Jeffery Gil Jackson and am 42 yrs, was born May 20th, 1970 and am still single and searching no kids... I work offshore,as a Production/Chemical Engr.I am in an Oil rig 400 nautical miles into the seas of United Kingdom , i am working with Exxon Mobil Oil Company Scotland...I have been in this job for about 13yrs now and am quitting this time cos I want to get settle down that's why am on that site searching......I am from a small and quiet family although my dad is dead now, My mom is from Denmark while my dad from England. Am the only child of my parents, i am a man who is nice,caring,honest,God fearing,Sincere,good sense of humor and Understanding.Cos understanding, trust and communication are the most important thing in a relationship to make it strong and last forever..Cos when two couples understand themselves i don't see anything that will happen to that relationship..it will be a happy one...I am looking for someone who is nice.caring.loving,honest and understanding..someone who have inner beauty cos inner beauty tells the true and real character of a lady coit is from the inner side of her u can tell if she is good or bad butit is not all about the physical appearance but the inner feelings which is the true feelings..

I replied the next day and we started chatting in Yahoo Messanger.

When I asked him for more photos, he sent 8 more on the 27 Nov 2012, 4:26am.

In less than 2 days chatting in Yahoo Messanger, he got my number and started calling me in unknown number or private number. The numbers he gave me was:

He said that his personal mobile is always in locker so he was not able to answer my calls and advised me to drop a missed call to him in his company mobile and he will call me back. So far, he will call me 3 times a day. Morning when he wakes up, lunch time and dinner time.

We started chatting about whom we met online and why we go into Badoo. He wanted a life time partner and his wife passed away 5 years ago due to a car accident when travelling to her mum's place. He will be located to offshore for 3 months period before he can come onshore so his wife got mad.

Then we chatted about if we are suitable, he asked me what am I looking out for. I told him my liabilities and he is very accomodating and readily to accept anything about me. And health issues, he sound very concern.

Conversations went on very well. We often talked about Christ. He then told me about his mum wanting to join her boyfriend in Canada. He sound very concerned about mum due to his dad passed away when he was 17, he act as son and husband to his mum so he really loved her. I told him to pray with his mum about it and as a son, given him plenty of approach. He is a sweet talker, telling me he had made the right choice. (He is referring to choosing me is the right choice) He started calling me Honey after about 3 days on the phone.

He asked me about past relationship and my divorced. Seems very concerned.

I started asking him for his address and initiated to give him mine. Wanting to see if he really wants to SCAM me something.

I done a search on google earth map his address he had given : 59 Woolton Hill Road, Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom and explained his place as 4 acres of land, got a pool etc (sounds like typical advertising). I had my reserves still.

Then i asked him about his church, he told me Saint Paul church, I done a google earth search travel to and fro, in driving, it takes 23 mins.

I asked him if we can Skype. He said he worked in highly confidential place like oil rig, does not allow camera phone. He is using a basic phone.

He said he resigned before met me online, as he wanted to settle down and having a job offshore is hard. And he is happy to meet me, wanted to come to Singapore to settle down with me. He just decided on this about 1.5 weeks chatting with me and he feels I am the one. But termination requires 3 months so it will be in Feb.

I had been talking to friends about him, having reserves. So finding out more about his job and UK.

My friends said:
1. Oil rig guys are usually not that educated.
2. Oil rig guys are tough guys.
3. Oil rig got a guard house to keep your cameras/ camera phones (Just like defense in Singapore)
4. His first email is trying to imply that he got low education and he does not sound British nor American.
5. Fishy guy


My friend found this online 1 week ago.

I told him what my friend found and he exclaimed that someone used his name for SCAM and he needs to report to his computer dept to investigate. It will affect his job.

I continue to chat with him since he sound so innocent about this incident. I take a pinch in whatever he said. But for the 2nd-3rd week, he started to blow kisses and said love u, miss u... He said wanted to propose when he comes in Feb, see my family and friends. I was thinking. All will be exposed by then i guess. He said will propose to me and ask for my hand from my parents. I told him I am not ready and wants to date for 1-2 years. He sound very understanding etc..

Recently, he wanted to buy a landed property to stay in Feb when he comes over since he wants to settle down for good in Singapore. He wants me and him to own a house of our own, it sounds too good to be true dream. He said he could transfer the deposit money to me for the purchase. I suspected things are not right. I told him all documents need him to sign. He said can put under my name. I thought to myself "Is the money clean". And I created some backdrops to make it sound like I need him to go house-hunting with me when he comes. It will be more meaningful etc. He said he understood and never flare any temper. My situation seems slightly different from others that I had read.

Our conversations continued until the day I found out the scam links, I blocked his number.

I hope this will help most ladies out there to be careful as he is using same photos, 9+8=15 in total, with different identities to go around cheating. I do not know what he is up to or maybe not yet until now as in today 16 Dec 2012, I am still safe with my money.
