Brian B. Miller

romance scam

San Antiono, Texas

A military man meet me on facebook claiming to be Brian Bill Miller in the United States army, He romance me for months. He told me he had a son and needed money for his medicine, and then told me he was robbed. I realized something was not right because i know the military takes care of their own and he forgot he told me early in the relationship that the military was taking care of his son, so he did not have to worry about anything. All of a sudden he needed money to get back to the US because he was retiring and leaving the military to marry me. Did i fall for this guy. Long story short, I did not give him any money but he kept pushing me for it. In the end he said he did not love me because i would not help him and he was not going to marry me because i would not help him get home. He was tired of being in the Army, tired of looking at blood and people die. So he called off our wedding and it left me heartbroken because i had believe he was serious and who he said he was.

I believe this person also goes by the name of Tom Miller. We just starting chatting just last week but something didn't seem right with his writing... He was always referring to zoon... which of course should be danger "zone"... did this many times. Also would you the word "mum" instead of mom or mother. I read somewhere that these were favorite words used my such scammers. Just very small grammatical errors in his writings. Then the conversation got very personal when he started to ask me if I had any financial debt or if anybody in the government was looking for me. I thought that was the strangest question. It all ended there. It never got as far as marriage or needing money because I confronted his strange emails and questions to me. Thank god.
Marita, it is a good thing you realized something was wrong. The one mistake the woman make is that they start to believe what these men say. I know i did. He was very charming. Now watch out there are at least 150 different pictures of him floating around and they are all stolen and the scammers are using them. I have been trying to warn woman about these pictures, They tell you they love you and then talk to you for a while to get you to fall for them and then the money talk comes up. That is all they know is money. That is another clue women need to be careful about. When they give you a sob story about them needing money, the money is for them to spend, go shopping and buy what they want. It has nothing to do with you, only to see if you have any money and then they hit you up for your money. Watch their spelling, their language and if you talk to one on the phone, they are not american. The real person in that picture is an American and he is married. He does not have an accent so if they tell you they were born in one place and moved or if they tell you they have been living in a country for so long that they picked up the accent it is a lie. I am glad i did not give him my money but i did end up paying a large phone bill, Lesson learned.
I have been talking with Gary for over 6 months. I have come across the pictures here under the name of Miller. I confronted him and he told me he is the real person. He reported the identity theft to the Pentatgon. I did send a few dollars, but now told him I dont have anymore money and that I was sick myself now. He is in Afganistan right now, got shot in the hand and just out of the hospital. He will be going to Africa shortly for the UN peace thing. He was suppose to be coming home on 1/6 and as you can see I am writing this. He is having a business partner send me a check for over 21,000 dollars and that I should just deposit it in my checking account. Not sure if he is wise or not but most bank with that large amount will hold and investigate where and what the check is for. Looking for money laundry. I told him they would probably put a 30 day hold on it and he got excited saying that is my business money.... oh well. It is suppose to arrive some time this week. It is really too bad that this guy is not real, he makes you feel loved and needed and is very easy to fall for. Hope this will help someone else. I dont have any pictures of him on this laptop, but the ones that are posted for Brian Miller are the same.
Who Scammed You Commenter
This is the same guy that got me. See scam #14499. I'd be willing to join others to see if we could nail this bastard. The picture is just a face for someone else. I have the name of Mr. Bruce Amagavie in Accra, Ghana.
Same guy, same story. I have been chatting with him for 2 weeks. No memtion of money yet. But the pictures are the same. with one new on I haven't seen above. I have found out he has hundres of these Miller names. He actually IM'd me from another dating site as Andy Miller, with the same picture he sent me last week., while I was chatting with him as Kelly Miller. What an idiot
I am a business owner, and this not so smart scammer found me on facebook. I talked to this man a few nights. At the first night, I was 80% sure he was a fraud. But I decided to play along because I was bored.. need some brain stimulation. He told me he is a general work for United Nations as a peacekeeper in Syria. his ex dead wife was trying to feed his son drug, so he had to send his son to UK.

Instead of showing sympathy, I asked him why was she not institutionalized? Obviously he did not expect that answer. Then he fall for me (in words) with supersonic speed. Then, I was sure he was either brain damaged or scam. I saw him on the cam.. definitely not the same person as the one on the picture. Probably not an American, because his English has some frauds, his social skill is not like American and he avoid voice conversation on cam.

So I played with him a little while. I asked him about the detained peacekeepers in Syria. He didn't know anything about it. A few night later, I asked him about the internet blackout in Syria. (He actually got online during blackout!! @@) Now the tactic here is ... you can't ask them too many questions about local situation all at one time. Otherwise, they will read newspaper before they talk to you next time! It's like fishing. You feed the fish a little bit, not too much, so to keep them coming back to you. (to amuse me.) It's also very important to read their words. Clues are in their sentences.

he told me he is German. Lucky, I dated German once for 8 years ... and I speak a little bit German too. So, I asked him how to say "how are you?" in German. He paused (probably google it) and gave me "the words of 'how are you' in German is 'xxxxx'" Now, this is wrong. A native German speaker would give you "Wie gets?" and tells you that's a casual way of saying 'how are you?' in German.... or tells you a formal way of asking people how are you in German and explain more in detail. (You will do the same to non-English speaker, right?) Then, I invited him for a small German conversation.. He said he will not answer any questions anymore.. hahaha! Conversation with him gets dry, so it's my time to tell him what I know about him.

It's also important to note that he will sometimes talk with authority to control his victim's mind. A lot of woman react to authority with submission. Nothing wrong with it, but he takes advantages of it.

At last, I called him a liar and asked him has he made a career out of telling every woman he wants to marry them and gets them wire him money. He said he have (never, -- he omitted this word, probably because he had lied too many times, his fingers betrayed him too) lie to anyone around him, then he block me!!

I have been living happily ever after!
