I met this man on a christian dating website. At first he came on really strong and stated that he was in love with me and wanted to marry me because he knew that i was the love of his life. He stated that he had two children 6 & 8 and even sent pictures. He claimed that he was divorced because his wife of 5 years cheated on him with his best friend. He claimed that he was a construction engineer and owned his own business in NY. He claimed that he was originally from France and had been living in NYC for 10 years. He claims that his parents died in a car accident and that he does not have any family or friends. He then stated that he got a contract to build an estate in FCT, Abuja Nigeria. He called and texted me everyday for a week while he was in Nigeria. A week into the trip he asked me to send him $300 because he had no money. Like a fool, I sent the money. A week later, he continued to text me stating that he would be kicked out of his hotel if I did not send him $800 immediately. Although I told him that I did not have it and I needed to find money to bury my grand mother, he continued to be persistent. when i did not send the money, he responded negatively. Ultimately, I told him to loose my number, stop contacting me and that I will report him. Please be aware of him and know that no person in their right mind would go all the way to another country without any money to support themselves.
