Edwin P. Santiago

I was approached by a friend about Edwin P. Santiago who claimed to bypass an apt lottery and receive an apartment within a month. He only requested that I bring my ID; a money order of $75.00, and $300 cash. Then the next day I filled out an apt form with my personal information including SSN#; bank info; and address. I received a letter dated 12/15/12 from Grenadier Reality Corp. stating that im on a waiting list for up to 2 months because brand new apartments were renovating. It wasn't until this past weekend that I discovered that it was a huge scam. To make matters worse not only was I a referral from my friend; but he also took referrals from me adding up to a total of 16 people that I know of. I had to change my bank info and set an alert of my SSN because of this issue. I just hope that this claim can stop him from scamming people in the future as well as retribution.
