Just a reminder to warn others from getting scammed. Michael Robert Ek and Leela S. Hartong are still out there ripping people off.

Mike Robert Ek and Leela Hartong are both Dutch Citizens, but have traveled around in various places in the world to do their so called business ripoffs.

I lost more then 45'000 in savings to these two thieving rascal scamming couple. I had invested with them to build a partnership in building internet web sites. I was to come up with the money and they would provide the expertise. They had originally contacted me via instant messenger ICQ and Skype. They seemed like the nicest people you could ever meet at first. So much so that I had even rented a house and office space together with them. They never had any expertise for me, but they used up my money for their own personal useses.

But bit by bit I got to see their true colors. That they only befriended me only to rob me of my money and resources. Neither of the two have any kind of education, real skillset, or any kind of work ethic, so they resort to ripping people off online with so called very mediocre Website design and development work, and shady business partnerships.

As I did more research I found that they have ripped dozens of people off around the globe. They are textbook traveling charletans. Once the water gets hot and the local people start to notice what dishonest types they are, they move to another area, and start a fresh with a new type of scam.

Some of the scams they have done to me and as well have been reported back to me by other victims, Embezzlement, Fraud, Non payment of landlords, and shoplifting fraud.
