John Feneis

This man, John Feneis, advertises on Craigslist that he has a house to rent, sends pictures and asks for a deposit to hold the rental, along with a cleaning fee. He says he will meet you at the house with the keys where you can pay the balance. When you arrive at the address, it is a house made into condos at that address instead od a home for rent. I wanted to pay the deposit thru paypal but he said he had a bad experience with them and wouldn't use them. I had to fill out a rental ageement then make a deposit into his account to hold the house.
I asked for references and he gave me several names and emails. I wrote to all, and they replied with glowing reviews of him and the house...obviously they were phony emails he had
set up. The house address showed up on a google search and showed a picture, but it was not for rent and he was not there. I had asked for a phone number in case I needed to call him, but when we arrived and he wasn't there I found the number didn't work.
I saw his name on this site as trying to scam other people to get money for his own business.
This guy is a total scumbag so beware.
