A friend of mine was looking on the web for animals that were free when she/he came across an ad that he/she wrote to asking about free animals. She/He got an email from: From: Lizy Bright
Hello
Thanks for contacting me. Mark and Rema are the two available puppies . Mark is the male and Rema is the Female. They are all registered with the following animals registration club know as AKC and are veterinary checked, vaccinated, has all health records till date including housing documents and are 13 weeks. I just relocated to a new and non pet apartment in ( COLORADO ). So i have been searching for pets loving homes to adopt and take care of these puppies until now that i have found you. All i'm asking is only for you to pay for transportation fee to your home if needed to be transported.
They are portable Husky
They are house Trained and Potty Trained.
They are well socialized with kids and other house pets like, cats , birds dogs etc.
But before approving your home for my puppies, i will like to ask you some questions.
(1) Where exactly are you located
(2) Are you a breeder?
(3) Do you have kids?
(4) Give me description of your living environment?
(5) Have you been keeping pets or this is your
first experience ?
Sorry for to many question, but i just want to be sure that my puppies would be going to the right home.

She/He responded and gave the information they asked for and because they didn't respond right away they received a call from a foreign man who kept asking for their details that he had requested in the email he sent him/her. He/She had gave his/her number in the email they sent back with the above information that was requested. More emails were sent as follows: since you have promised to take great care of the puppies i'll need your full details in other to start preparation of adoption papers and transfer of ownership papers Thanks When she/he received this email they started to wonder if this wasn't a scam the email reads as follows:
"Mark and Rema are already registered/vaccinated and would be coming along with the following registration documents
AKC Documents.
Pedigree.
Age Level Potty Training.
Puppy Contract/Guarantee.
Certificate of Veterinary Inspection.
Micro-Chipped (In case ever lost or stolen).
De wormed.
And many more.
All i'm asking is only for you to pay for the puppies delivery fee. The cost of the delivery is $500 for both puppies.
This fee is to be paid directly to the delivery company since the money would be needed in order to buy a delivery ticket before proceeding with the delivery. For delivery arrangement, all i'll need is the bellow details in other to start preparing of adoption papers and transfer of ownership papers before the 20th of March.
Full names...............
City/State............................
Home address.........................
Post code....................................
Phone number.................................
She/He started to question this transaction when she/he read :"money would be needed in order to buy a delivery ticket before proceeding with the delivery." She/He had been told that she/he would pay when the delivery company delivered the pups to them.
She/He sent another email to confirm that it was only going to cost $500 and this is the email that came:
"yes the total amount for both puppies is $500.00 and this money you will be paying it directly to the delivery company, all i need from you is your details in other to start delivery preparation". Because she/he felt some what uncomfortable she/he sent another email to have the owners of the pups send information on the company they would be using. This is what the owners sent: "i'll be using the Air Animal Pets Mover to transport them over to you, they are very fast reliable and they will delivered the puppies to u at your door steps." She looked up the website and it took her/him here: http://www.airanimal.com/ If you look on their site on the bottom left hand corner you will see a link about scams and when she/he hit the highlighted link it took him/her to a page with a bunch of links. She/He read what had been written on a few of those sites and contacted the local police and other sites as well. She/He did some checking on the net and came across this site and also a site for the pups at: http://lizybright.yolasite.com/
If you are looking for an animal to adopt and you can't drive to see the animal then deal with local people in your area. This was the third time that they have ran in to this kind of situation. The first time the person sent pictures of the pup and they found it on the web!
