Mike Westrom

I scammer emails a Craigslist seller and asks for them to reply back with their cell phone number. The scammer then texts that they would like the item, but they are off short and would pay for it via Paypal. They ask for the person's Paypal address. This is where I stopped the communication as it was obviously not legitimate. Had I proceeded, they would have likely sent a link to a fake Paypal webpage that would have asked me to log into my account to verify that the funding was correct, and accept it. The fake site would just be there for the purpose of collecting my user name and password so that the scammer has access to my Paypal Account

The phone number that the texts came from is: (646)481-8315
This is a New York City phone number.
When I called it, it went to the voicemail of a Mike Westrom. He is a Google Voice customer.

I have also reported this scam, including phone number and name to the police
