KEN MCKENNA

Ken McKenna, a well-known Reno lawyer, has been charged two Federal misdemeanor counts of failing to pay taxes.

Although he filed tax forms in 2004 and 2007 saying he owed "a substantial amount of tax," he was required to pay the taxes by certain dates but did not, according to a criminal complaint filed Monday by Nevada U.S. Attorney Dan Bogden.

HIS BROTHER IS ON DEATH ROW FOR RAPING 3 WOMEN AND TRYING TO RAPE HIS YOUNG MALE CELL MATE THE YOUNG BOY RESISTED AND KENS BROTHER MURDERED HIM. A crook who should be in jail. Horrible attorney who is always "out of the office". His staff is made up of smart mouthed twelve year olds who have been taught to cover up and lie to clients by the main liar, him. Look if you have a group of people all unrelated all over the place saying the same thing about their experience with one individual they are right and telling you the truth. Please be warned.

KEN McKenna accepts money - then you never hear from him again. He has an inexperienced admin handle most of his client interaction on his behalf. He cost me a sanction because of his lack of professionalism and understanding of court procedure. So I not only paid him a flat fee to handle a matter finalizing my divorce, his representation actually COST me. I filed a complaint with the Nevada Bar whereas we were assigned to mediation and thankfully he refunded a portion of my fee - but it doesn't come close to what it cost in sanction and assets lost.

He has his friends, dates, and others who are not actual clients post FAKE POSITIVE reviews for him which are filtered (thank goodness Yelp recognizes this). I am hoping they will post my actual review of his performance or lack thereof in the Washoe County Family Courts knowing I have been a regular Yelp user for years.

I recommend people GOOGLE His name . you'll see numerous postings about his tax fraud, state bar discipline, and how hes done people wrong.

He has a horrible track record of taking ones hard earned money... BE WARNED!

I hired Ken back in December of last year to wrap up a few items from my divorce. I paid a $2,500…He Scammed it all from me.

I hired Mr. McKenna and paid him a fee of $10,000.00 - He had 18 Months to put the legal issues to get it together to handle the case. He was totally unprepared for the oral arguments, and the Judge had to advise him how to handle the legal aspects of the claim, and gave him an opportunity to legally do the right thing.

Ken McKenna hired a paralegal for $2,700.00 without consulting me. The work the paralegal completed and charged us for was irrelevant and not appropriate, work that did not help my case at all. We still had to pay..he told us we had to pay.

Ken McKenna didn't know that the paralegal work was worthless to the case.

Ken McKenna fired us after I confronted him about his lack of professional competence and left us hanging with no attorney.

Our experience was he did not return phone calls, he was never in the office, he was always at "Court". He would not return our boxes or files to us without going to another lawyer to threaten him with legal action if he did not give us our property.

We have notified the STATE BOARD / Bar of our experience.
