I needed a place to board my horse in September 2013 and I met Lisa through her "hay business" and said myself and another person could board our horses there. So we did. We worked out an agreement for lesser board due to money being tight at the time.

Things seemed great at first but about 2 months in I started to notice I was doing more and more things that as a boarder I should not have to be doing. Example doing the all the stalls in the barn everyday, feeding everyday AM and PM when I wasn't working. And theses same things were not getting done if the other lady at the barn we unable to get out to the barn.

I also started to notice my mare starts to drop a lot of weight. I kind of brushed it off at first thinking it was her still growing since she was 3 at the time, but the weight continued to drop. I then caught Lisa not feeding my horse one day and was every upset about this. She tried to assure me it was an accident and that she got hay that night. Then 2 or so weeks later I saw my horse was not fed again, again I was furious. Lisa blew up and was saying that I was being dramatic and that she was getting fed and that she wasn't feeling good and none of the horses got fed that night...... okay? Just because none of there horses got fed that make it all better..... NO!

I then started to notice that all16 of the other horses on the property losing weight as well. I felt bad so I would try to make it a point to get out there and feed the horses but with work that wasn't always possible and again the other lady couldn't make it out to the barn all the time. I started considering moving barns after an altercation between myself and another boarder and the lacking of attention to my horse's feeding.

While she was away at a drill team competition I couldn't get out to the barn one night and she had her drunk, alcoholic friend go out and feed the horses and sher friend did not feed my horses the right feed or hay. When I asked Lisa about she blew up yelling at me saying it seems like feeding my horse is becoming a problem....... yea the problem is your not feeding my horse properly.

In the end of February I came back to the back late from a night horse show and Lisa and her husband Joe blocked me in on the property thinking it was someone they had recently banned from the property, along with 100 other people banned from the property, stealing something from her. I was one the phone with said person and called them back when I finally left the property and we along with someone else decided to pull my horse from the property the next morning.

When me and the person I was on the phone with the night before went to the property with a police escort Lisa again blew up! She started saying extremely mean things to the lady I was with and got in her face. She got offended that I asked for a police escort and yelled at me for that. I told her this is the exact reason I brought one. I got my horse out of there. Within 2 weeks my mare started to gain a ton of weight, letting me know she was not feeding my horse at all.

She is a horse hoarder not caring for her horses and compulsive liar and manipulator. No one should trust this woman with the any animal. There has been multiple ACC cases against her, lawsuits against her, and a no adopt ban on her from ACC. She tries to pass herself off as a legit horse rescue and boarding facility. She has no licenses to rescue horses or to board horses on her property. DO NOT TRUST THIS WOMAN!!
