allied schools

I was finally placed at an externship site after I had graduated 5 months prior
The externship site was Willa Carson, in Clearwater ,Florida. The place was filthy! Unwrapped
speculums, tongue depressor, ear lavages, plus black slime in all the sinks. I brought my own
supplies andcleaned all the exam rooms. Stupid janitor had all the floors wet at 9 am when
patients were admitted!
I was harassed from the first day I was instructed. I coul dnot ask a question without being looked at like I was stupid. I was forced to document t.b. tests that I did not perform. I was
subjected to mind games(ie: the forms we used were constantly being changed form the location they were originally in)
I could not sleep from the stress I was under and finally left there in tears after the 3rd week,
The externship refused to talk to me or e-mail me for 2 months. I contacted the school asking
for someone else, then she e-mailed me. I applied for a 2nd externship placement and was
denied.

I am 65 years old. I became homeless for 8 years in order to pay off all my debts so I would not have to think about them while I was in school, pay for my courses in full , and support
myself for the two years without having to work so I could make good grades.
