Re: [Position applied to] ($15/hr) - company name (company location) application on Indeed
Indianapolis, Indiana
I had applied to a job regarding a company here in Indianapolis called Redwall. It was listed on Indeed.com. After researching the type of scam, the scammers usually use the same type of paragraphs when trying to convince those that they have the job. Their format is:
"Re: [Position applied to] ($15/hr) - company name (company location) application on Indeed
Hello,
I hope all is well. My name is [random name] - I'm the staffing manager here at [company name]. I've reviewed your experience, and you may be a good fit for our administrative staff. Everything looks good, however I will need you to send me your resume in sequential format (company requirement for new hires). Please re-send me your resume in the correct format, along with the first date you can begin so we can move forward.
If you are unfamiliar with sequential formatting, I'd recommend finding a template, or a quick resume builder online (I know ExecutiveFormats.com or ResumeEdge should support the format).
Please email me if you have any questions.
Best,
[same random name]
Staffing Coordinator
