Bulgaria has started military supplies of weapons, ammunition and equipment in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This information was confirmed by the chief of the General Staff of the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense Emil Eftimov, reports TASS.

"The parliament's decision has come into force, and we have launched a delivery operation, which was planned together with the NATO military authorities and approved by the Minister of Defense," a senior officer said.

On December 9, it became known that Bulgaria decided to send military aid to Ukraine for the first time. Although the list of weapons is classified, government officials have said that the aid package will mainly include light weapons, ammunition and Soviet-made equipment.
