James Wheeler

James Wheeler contacted me through a freelance job website. He offered me the position of Payroll Clerk for his company, Wheeler Payroll Services. Payment was to be $800 every two weeks for printing and mailing checks out to various people. I was to buy check printing paper and Versa ink check printing ink, which I did, and he was to reimburse me. It took a few weeks for me to get going, because I had trouble getting my new printer (which I also went out and purchased for this job). A month after I started working for him, I had to ask him when he would be paying me. He deposited $800 into my Paypal account a week late, and then asked me to withdraw $400 and send it by Western Union to another individual. I did so at his request, and then had to chase him down for the remainder of my payment. It has now been two additional weeks, and my payment was due last Friday. Now a week and three days late, he tells me today that the man from whom the payment has to come has a wife in critical condition and he will be getting in touch as soon as possible. He owes me $830 now at this point, and it does not look like I'm ever going to get it.
