Thomas Raymond/ David_Campbell

Houston, Texas

He got hold of me on Match.com.....everything was wonderful and he was so attentive and adoring and loving, until he all of a sudden didn't have enough money for a shipment for his business.
Then the next day, he didn't have enough to pay his hotel bill, then it was not having enough to feed his children...
He says his wife died 2 years ago of breast cancer, and he is left with Cindy, age 5 and Jack, age 3. They are traveling with him.
He told me he was born in Madrid, Spain, moved to Australia at age 14 and lived there until 2 years ago when he moved to Fresno, CA and now to Houston.
Beware... he's a smooth talker...

This man contacted me through match.com as well, but used the name Robert McMiller. Said he was a mechanical engineer who started his own company doing industrial machines for international companies. Said he's from New Zealand, moved to Fresno CA ~2 yrs ago and Houston in October '11. Wife died 2 yrs ago from breast cancer (but I couldn't find an obit in ANY of the California or Auckland, NZ papers from '09-'11 that listed her). His children's names are Julie and Mark; I actually spoke to Julie on the phone and she's a very sweet little girl (5 yrs old, Mark is 3). He just finished a 2 week contract in the Republic of Benin (west Africa) installing industrial generators, shipment was way above what he was prepared to pay so I loaned him $3K. He then hired workers that needed to be paid before HE got paid, needed cash for that. Needed cash for the hotel bill, and then again for changing the tickets flying out of Ghana to come back to the States (was going to come stay with me for 2 weeks with the children). Professed to love me - had even asked me to marry him, said that he had not fallen this hard for someone over the Internet before. Can write very romantic emails & IM's (yahoo). Final straw was when I called the airline to ask them to pass on a message to him - he wasn't registered to be on the flight, and wasn't registered with them AT ALL. I've got his cell number (works), as well as his home address (what he TOLD me was his address, at least). I had not wanted to believe that this man I'd fallen in love with could do such a thing - I'd previously been scammed by another man. Robert said that he would NEVER do anything to hurt me, and he respected me and would always honor me and tell me the truth. Incredibly believeable. I don't know how often he'll post these pics of himself (shown above), but he also has 2 more at the beach and one with his kids. PLEASE beware. I can promise you that, nomatter WHAT he says, he IS lying to you. Feel free to contact me if you want any further information.

I wish I could simply retract the last post I made. Turns out that Robert was unable to contact me (or get on the flights) because he & the children had been detained by the police - they truly cannot leave the country until the workers are paid (spoke to police department, is a national law). Confirmed company that he did the work for, confirmed that payment is being issued but sent here to the States. So he IS legit. Still have some details to work out that aren't quite clear, but on the whole he is who & what he says he is...

I retract my "disagree" statement. This man just got more money out of me after convincing me that he was legitimate. Will be filing a new scammer claim against him with all pictures, including one of himself fwith his children.

He scammed me, too! But used the name Michael Jones. Changed the name of his kids but all else sounds the same!
