Match.com Nigerian online dating scam
San Francisco, California
Meets women on match.com with a fake profile. Asks you to send him your email so that you can email each other and chat on yahoo messenger. Sends dozens of romantic emails and chats. After a couple days of contact, he asks for your cell phone number so he can call or text you any time. Sends you all kinds of texts expressing undying love. In a few days, tells you he is going to the UK on business to work on a contract. Finds excuses not to talk to you on the phone until he is in the UK. Claimed he was widowed and had a 16 year old son that he home schooled and took with him everywhere he went. Promises to come straight home to you after his trip. Beware!!! Read through the crap and note the inconsitencies and their reluctance to answer detailed questions. They are very good at distracting you with the hopes you won't realize they didn't answer your question. If you meet someone online, Google them. Check census data. If it seems a little fishy, it is!!!!!
