I'm stuck in China, my goods held, wire cash

center city, Minnesota

Romance scammer. Posts a younger, clean-cut photo. Says he owns his own fabric store. He is very sweet and is looking for love. He acts very carefully, then pretends to open up to you, gradually. You think he's real. He proposes marriage. Then states that he must go to China to buy goods for his store and do you still want to be in contact with him. He IM's you every day. Then, suddenly, he can't get out of China. They are holding his goods in customs for a large fee and he doesn't have the money and he only bought a one-way ticket. He asks, begs, for money and promises to pay you back the minute he's back in the States. He says he can't access his own money because the hotel has his ID. If you say no, the scenario gets worse. Next he will claim he is thrown out of the hotel for lack of money. If you ask for USA ID, he says the hotel took it and locked it up. He sends you, by IM, a postage stamp size of his passport, which no matter what you do, you can't read it., all the while pleading for help. It's heart wrenching. You gamble on him and send him money. As you are sending it , he is very impersonal. After he gets it, he sends you a lovely IM. Then he hits you up for more money. If you suggest he might be dishonest, he says now he knows what kind of person you are. He never pays you back. He has multiple women contacts. He scammed me for $1,800. He has multiple IM addresses and is on social network sites. He also calls himself, Max.
