I absolutely love boxers and have owned a few previously.They are my favorite breed and i have been waiting for the right time to purchase another one.However,in the past 4 yrs I have lost a child at the age of 1and a half and have had 2 more children.I now have a family of 6.I am a stay at home mom and my husband works very hard to earn money honestly.So money is tight in our household.We could not afford an 800$+ boxer.My husband decided to look online to find a deal.
He came across a website that included pics of some beautiful boxers with an email address of Jesica_Parker@yahoo.com.She explained that she was moving into an apartment and could not keep her boxer puppies.She needed to find loving,caring homes for them.She had posted a list of questions for the potential buyer.She was only asking 160.$.My husband emailed her with his cell #. He received a text saying that she had just moved to Africa and that he would have to pay the $ thru western union so she could pay the airline for shipping.After a long conversation with her..he wired her 100.$.The puppy was supposed to be flown here and delivered to our doorstep.No puppy arrived.My husband received another text saying the puppy's insurance papers had expired.He even received an email from a fake airline by the name of Cargo Pet Movers Express.They wanted 650.$ for insurance on the puppy.My husband told them he did not have that kind of $."Jesica" asked him how much he could afford and she would pay the rest.So...my husband sent her another 100$.That evening still no puppy as promised.We then realized that it was a scam.Everything about it screamed scam.I don't know why we were so foolish to believe any of this.We have never come across anything of this sort before.She continued to harass my husband for more $ and promising we would get our puppy.It was one excuse after another.Even after we both told her she would be reported.She even went as far as telling us she was taking us to court for pet abandonment.What a joke.The puppy was supposed to be my anniversary present and my son's third birthday present.Since these occasions fall within a week of eachother.We are now left with no $ for either celebration.
